Every day is a new opportunity to get closer to God. This has been a consistent theme in my writing, but most importantly in Scripture. Here is todays newsletter with some amazing imagery of that journey.
"Can you ascend to the mountain and not depend upon the one who made it?
DEPENDENCE DOES NOT DECREASE.
Do not look for it to do that.
Do not look for it to be erased or go away.
Look for it to increase.
LOOK TO THE SON AND YOU WILL RISE WITH HIM.
It is not the height of the mountain that is difficult.
It is the process of your willingness to be dependent that determines the ascension.
THE SON ROSE AND HE DID THE WILL OF THE FATHER.
The sons and daughters will rise as they depend upon Him too.
YIELD AND HIS POWER WILL HELP YOU RISE.
The ascension is automatic.
The ascension cannot be the primary purpose.
WILL YOU LET ME BRING YOU UP INTO CLOSENESS.
THIS IS THE MOUNTAIN YOU WILL ASCEND.
It is not one of self effort or achievement.
You can receive no glory as you ascend.
Complete dependence on ME to help our closeness increase.
The ascension will continue to the breadth and length and height that you allow me to help you grow.
When you enter into greater oneness with Me; less and less hindrances exist and our relationship will increase in its quality and bond-strength.
Ascend with Me into greater and greater Oneness.
THIS IS WHY YOU WERE MADE.
You were created with a capacity for closeness.
Are you willing to let me bring you up to more freedom and serenity?
Are you willing to abandon what is below and ascend with Me?
I WANT TO BE CLOSER AND CLOSER.
Will you let me lead you or will you lead yourself?
Amen.”
Don’t we have an amazing invitation?
We were created to know Him.
He wants us to get closer to Him and He will give us the power to do it.
